Client: Media Rebel

Media Rebel’s goal on this project was a complete homepage re-write. As the company had grown, the need for a specific and consistent brand voice had been given less attention than was necessary, so after we collaboratively identified the target audience and the preferred tone and voice, this webpage was the outcome.

The tone we landed on is a decisively spunky and energetic one, really leaning into the “Rebel” part of the company name. We wanted to evoke a feeling for the audience that was encouraging but in a really intense way, stirring up motivation and action.

Here, Media Rebel takes on a persona of a coach, spurring the client on with strategy and a very loud “yes you can!” while positioning clients as a rebel or disruptor, someone who will make waves in their industry through their social media presence along with Media Rebel’s help. A lot of the chosen voice and verbiage reflects a target audience that is relatively younger, specifically those described as Millennial and Gen-Z. Even with clients that don’t fall into this demographic, the verbiage here helps to suggest that Media Rebel is the appropriate solution for any company to stay relevant. Some of these pieces were directly by request of Media Rebel for that reason.
